Lasiodora Parahybana UNBELIEVABLE GROWTH RATE!!!! TRUE OR FALSE!!!

After receiving a call from home...I was told my parahybana molted.....And now its bigger than my adult OBT!!!! I was told it was the size of an egg! If you dont know how big an egg is take one out of the fridge now and measure it! I mean..Come on!!!That is an incredible growth rate even for a Lasiodora Parahybana!! I have to see it to believe it but if it is true....My Parahybana has a very good chance to be the biggest sling bought at the June-July exhibition this year! Another contender is the mexican red knee owned by Viper76! If this claim is true my Parahybana may very well be bigger then viper76's Red knee! If anybody has a bigger tarantula that was bought at the EXHIBITION and not anywhere else please e-mail me with a picture to guarantee that claim! Remember....The only tarantulas that were sold at the exhibition were Lasiodora Parahybana, Brachpelma Smithi and Grammostola Porteri(Formerly Rosea) so if you are trying to trick me with the picture of another Tarantula stop wasting your time and save yourself from looking like a fool!(My e-mail is P6BlueChungHwa@hotmail.com)

  1. I think you mean brachypelma, and porteri Is a dif. sp that rosea. Pet stores commonly sell Porteri as rosea. Also given the average size of the parahybana I'd be more suprised if it didn't dwarf a brachypelma or grammostola sp. Especially since those two are slow growing sp. LP's can get 4'-5' in a year fully grown i've heard of over 11' 8'-10' more likely. If your OBT was the size of an egg it wasn't mature yet.
