Feeding Time!!!!!!

I fed most of my Tarantulas today.

Here is a chart depicting the name, food and feeding response(Out of 10).

NAME/FOOD/FEEDING RESPONSE/REMARKS

1.Lampropelma violaceopes(1)/Live Mealworm/8/I dropped it into the webbing,It struck it hard a few minutes later and started wrestling with it(Guess who is the winner).

2.Lampropelma violaceopes(2)/Live fly/10/Why ten?Because when i dropped the fly into the enclosure,It immediatly turned around and bit it with its fangs while the fly helplessly tried to escape. This is different than most feeding behaviour because instead of leaving the food in the enclosure and waiting for it to eat it,It just attacked the fly directly...Awesome!!

3.Aphonopelma Seemanni/Crushed Mini Mealworm/6/Why should i crush the mealworm when it is already mini?Because my A.Seemanni moulted 4 days ago and im scared the fangs not yet harden so i gave it a small crushed mealworm just in case. Same feedig response, bite it and overpower it. Hasnt refused a meal yet.Looking forward to seeing it grow.

I also fed the 3 scorpions but i am lazy to right everything. Only comment:They ate it.

Lasiodora Parahybana UNBELIEVABLE GROWTH RATE!!!! TRUE OR FALSE!!!

After receiving a call from home...I was told my parahybana molted.....And now its bigger than my adult OBT!!!! I was told it was the size of an egg! If you dont know how big an egg is take one out of the fridge now and measure it! I mean..Come on!!!That is an incredible growth rate even for a Lasiodora Parahybana!! I have to see it to believe it but if it is true....My Parahybana has a very good chance to be the biggest sling bought at the June-July exhibition this year! Another contender is the mexican red knee owned by Viper76! If this claim is true my Parahybana may very well be bigger then viper76's Red knee! If anybody has a bigger tarantula that was bought at the EXHIBITION and not anywhere else please e-mail me with a picture to guarantee that claim! Remember....The only tarantulas that were sold at the exhibition were Lasiodora Parahybana, Brachpelma Smithi and Grammostola Porteri(Formerly Rosea) so if you are trying to trick me with the picture of another Tarantula stop wasting your time and save yourself from looking like a fool!(My e-mail is P6BlueChungHwa@hotmail.com)

New Singapore Blue Sling,Malaysian Forest Scorpion and a sting report!!!

Greetings from malaysia everybody! I got a new Singapore blue Sling this morning(4/12/9)!!!It is very nice and i love it!!!I also got 3 new Malaysian Forest Scorpion(H.Spinifer). This is not to be confused with the Asian forest scorpion(H.Longimanus) that you bought from viper76. they are more feistier and more quick to sting!I got stung TWICE by them while changing the container! The sting itself was like a needle piercing through my skin! The venom didnt do anything to me at all...i must be too tough for scorpion venom haha. I would have posted pictures but I dont have a camera with me. Oh well! I have already ordered a malaysian cherry head centipede so stay tuned if you want to know when I get it!

Memorial of a Great Man R.I.P Steve Irwin

Stephen Robert Irwin (22 February 1962 – 4 September 2006)
Other names:Steve Irwin
Steve was a great man.He would stop at nothing to save animals. A true example of an animal lover. This special post is in memorial to 'The Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin. Steve is famed for saving animals but he never took advantage of it. He was a man in his own right, saving animals regardless of the danger. After 9 years of saving animals, Steve finally died when a stingrays barb pierced him through his heart. No other man would be as caring as him, his legacy will be carried on forever.... I end this heartfelt post with Steve's most famous words. ''I don't care if my life is in danger, if there is a crocodile or koala or kangaroo or snake thats in danger, I save it.'':Steve Irwin

Special edition: Scolopendra subspinipes

Ok. I did not steal this from picture ejcjpets.blogspot.com. I got it from http://www.petbugs.com/caresheets/S-subspinipes.html
This is a Vietnamese centipede. This centipede has an awful bite described as a hot excruciating pain. If your allergic to this species venom, you do not want to know what will happen to you. This centipedes venom is described as 10 times more powerful than any tarantula or scorpion but i think the yellow fat tail scorpion or the deathstalker scorpion are more venomous. This centipede is the only myriapod that has a human death attributed to it. Quote ''The only reported fatal case was in the Philippines; the centipede bit a seven-year old girl on her head, and she lived for another 29 hours.'' If all goes smooth, i'll have a centipede by end of this year or next year from Ejcj. Or at least i know he is going to sell them so when he does, im guaranteed to get 1.Want your own centipede?? Check out for stock on http://www.ejcjpets.blogspot.com/

TARANTULA OF THE DAY!!! 05/11/09 Poecilotheria regalis

The indian ornamental is considered as the most venomous tarantula because one bite and it will paralyze wherever it bites. This tarantula also is the fastest being described by keepers as a ''teleporter''. Ouch...wouldnt want to get bitten by this thingy.
